They All Look Alike to CBS/AP
What's wrong with this picture? At least two people at CBS completely missed the fact that the flag is Japan's flag, not China's. Junior high level geography is evidently not a requirement to work in the CBS newsroom. Why should it be? Reporters aren't required to have a basic grasp of history or journalistic ethics, either. The error has since been corrected.
There are a couple of minor errors that have not been fixed. First, if you look at the lighting, the shadow should be to the upper right, not the lower left. Second, a LGF reader pointed out that this isn't even a picture of Earth's moon, but Dione, one of Saturn's moons.

Perhaps when I'm in Japan in November, I will tell of a secret plot to be overthrown by the Asian neighbor to the west, just to see what happens.
What can they really do to my sushi?
;)
